What it means for you

Teeth that stay put, and a life that feels normal again

Unlike removable dentures, the new teeth are attached directly to the implants. They don't move when you eat or speak, and they're not taken out. Patients who have had this treatment consistently describe it as life changing.

  • Eat what you wantA fixed bite, so you can enjoy food without thinking about your teeth.
  • Speak freelyNo movement or slipping, so you can talk without hesitation.
  • Smile againNatural-looking teeth you don't have to hide or take out at night.

I've been seeing him over the edge for a number of years. He gave me a clean bill of health every time I went to him. I was convinced that everything was fine. In fact, Chris demonstrated very clearly that it was not the case. And I had serious dental problems that required a considerable amount of expertise, money and time in order to resolve. I had serious and malignant gum disease. Plus I lost teeth and having lost the teeth, it required implants. It required a complete revision of dental health that went on for a number of years. Now all is well and I'm really, really grateful. I absolutely recommend Clear Dentistry. They've looked after me remarkably well with a level of professionalism and skill that I have never had from a dentist before and I would recommend them to anyone with any sort of dental concern.

Patient story · 1:15

“Now all is well and I'm really, really grateful.”

Aidan came to us with serious gum disease and missing teeth. His treatment, including implants, was a complete revision of his dental health, planned and led by Dr Chris Leech over a number of years.

Two ways to restore a full arch

  • FP1

    The gold standard

    Fixed Prosthesis Type 1

Only the teeth are replaced, not the gums. The result is more comfortable, more lifelike and easier to clean. It does require specific conditions, which your CBCT scan will show.

  • FP3

    Fixed Prosthesis Type 3

If FP1 isn't suitable, FP3 can still help. Implant positioning can be more flexible, and gum tissue can be replaced artificially where it has already been lost or damaged.

Simplified illustrations, not to scale. Your dentist will explain which suits you after your scan.

FP3 replaces the teeth and some of the gum. FP1 replaces only the teeth.

Why patients choose Clear for full arch implants

Full arch treatment is a long-term commitment, so the clinician and the practice you choose matter.

  • Dr Chris Leech at the 3D planning screen

    Led by Dr Chris Leech

Postgraduate implant qualifications, including the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from RCS Edinburgh, and over 17 years of implant experience and international teaching.

  • A 3D CBCT scan with planned implant positions

    3D planning and guided placement

Every implant position is planned virtually in three dimensions, then placed using a 3D-printed surgical guide. That makes placement safer, faster and more predictable.

    An honest assessment

If a different treatment is right for you, we'll say so. The goal is the correct result for you, not the largest treatment plan.

Nervous about treatment?

There's no need to be

Our in-house consultant anaesthetist can sedate you safely and comfortably, so you'll have little to no memory of the procedure and no awareness of how long it takes.

“I was extremely nervous and fearful about visiting the dentist, but Luke and the whole team have been absolutely fantastic.”
